Tikal aims to become the leading, most far-reaching community of software developers using Open Source frameworks and tools as their infrastructure for achieving the best results and most advanced Application Development and Deployment (AD&D). Providing the foundation for this central community of AD&D knowledge sharing allows us to substantially contribute to the assurance of rapid, high-quality development, easy customization, and, overall, the best ratio of costs and benefits.

Using the best-of-breed open source technologies, we envision an ever-evolving, ever-improving AD&D process, resulting in better software, produced faster at a significantly lower cost, benefiting both software developers and their respective target audiences.
