Java 6 has introduced the notion of dynamic languages executing on top of the JVM, allowing 20-something different languages to execute in a secure, managed environment, alleviating dynamic capabilities. In this Use-Case presentation, we'll examine actual benefits and pitfalls of executing business logic via a dynamic language (in this case, TCL), unmystify some of the FUD surrounding this seemingly over-hyped technology and understand the short and some of the long-term consequences of making a bold decision....
